How do I archive my posts?

Scenario:
"I want to place my old items in the archive so they will not be see on the main page, only when the archive is selected. I thought it might automatically do it after so many days, but it's been awhile and I tried to see in the Administration area if there was a way to have them archived, but I couldn't find anything."

Solution:
Nucleus archives are done on a monthly basis, but it depends on how many items you have set your blog to display by default. If you have set it to display 20 items but you post infrequently, then your blog will display the last 20 items, even if they relate to previous months.

Try changing your default number of items to be display to something smaller, like 3. Provided you post at least 3 entries per month, you should soon see your posts archiving themselves.

To clarify a bit further - Nucleus doesn't "archive" posts as such. The Archives section is just all the posts in your blog sorted by month in reverse chronological order. It just seems as if your posts are not archived because you still see them on your front page.
